Introducing...
Lawal Travel Services
Established in 2016, Lawal Travel Services is a boutique business travel management agency based in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. We specialize in coordinated travel management for consultants, executives, and growing organizations — the professionals and teams doing work too important to leave tangled in logistics.
We handle the booking, the itineraries, the disruptions, and everything in between, so you can stay focused on why you're traveling in the first place. No new platforms to learn, no call centers to navigate — just a direct line to someone who already knows your preferences and picks up the phone when things go sideways.
Business travel is our specialty. Not cruises, not family vacations — business travel management. That distinction matters, and it's why our clients stay.
Founder & CEO
Jenita Lawal
Jenita Lawal came to travel management the long way around — which is exactly why she's good at it.
Before founding LTS in 2016, Jenita spent nearly a decade in corporate human resources, building policy frameworks and compliance systems across industries ranging from PEO firms and behavioral health organizations to enterprise-level employers. She learned how to design programs that protect people and hold up under pressure.
Then came a chapter most travel advisors don't have: hospitality asset management. As part of the U.S. Army's Privatized Army Lodging (PAL) program, Jenita oversaw hotel operators — reviewing their financials, auditing guest performance data, evaluating capital development plans, approving Capital Replacement Reserves, and conducting on-site property inspections. She wasn't a guest. She was evaluating whether the property was being run right.
That combination — knowing how compliant programs are built, and knowing how hotels actually operate — is the foundation of how Lawal Travel Services serves its clients.
Jenita holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resources and earned her ASTA Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) certification. She has been quoted as a travel expert in USA Today and TravelAge West, contributes to Aging.com, and is the founder of a business networking group for freelancers and solopreneurs in Mérida, Yucatan — where she lives and runs LTS remotely.
