Not a report. Not a case study. Not three hundred pages of someone else's research with a deadline attached. A novel. Something you picked up because you wanted to know what happened next. No. Plenty of people arrive halfway. The co-reading day exists partly so you can catch up. No judgment at the meet & greet either — we ask for an honest show of hands and leave it there. What if I don't know anyone? Most people won't. That's rather the point. By day two you'll know everyone's name and roughly how they feel about the ending. I haven't read a novel in two years. Is this for me? Especially for you. That's most of the group. Is this a party trip? No. There's wine and there's laughing, and there is also a day where the plan is to read and nobody will bother you. Can I bring my partner? Yes, as long as they're coming to read. Book double occupancy and you both register. Is it really adults only? Huatulco and Curaçao, yes. Canmore is a hotel in a mountain town, so we can't promise you'll never see a child in the lobby. Our own programming is adults only on all three. Where do I see the full details for my trip? Each trip has a Trip Sheet with the dates, inclusions, payment deadlines and cancellation terms for that specific trip. You buy it yourself, but you don't have to go hunting: **we can quote you through Faye or Allianz**. Just ask, and send us the confirmation once you're covered. You pick a couple of dinners in town. That's the whole difference. What's the activity actually going to be? It depends on the book, and we don't tell you the book. That's rather the point. What we'll say is that we choose each destination so the story has somewhere real to land. Why don't I get to pick the book? Because you'd pick something you already meant to read.
